The Weekly Top X – Space Elfs
The other day I was looking through my closets and came face to face with the fact that I saved every box that the kits for my Eldar army came in. I’m not entirely sure I did this other than for this shot:
So there’s one long term goal of the ol’ check list… and a trip to the dumpster to make.
With that in mind, today’s Top X is a tribute to all the faithful Eldar players out there still pluggin’ away on the hard road that is life as a 40k Xeno.
1) Scratchbuilt 40k – Scratch building Eldar Weapon Platforms, updating old Wraith Lords
We open today’s festivities with a cool scratch build and a slightly alarming and definitely colorful trip down memory lane. A solid couple of hash marks in the W column for Krisken.
2) The Spirit Chamber – The power of prayer, 1850 tournament battle report:
Speaking of wins, Yriel and his Iyanden army went 3 for 3 at a recent tournament. This is a well done, experiential report with a ton of pictures and well worth your elf-loving consideration.
3) Imperius Dominatus – Battle Report – Tyranids vs Eldar 1250pts
A small game, but a mighty game. There was a pretty good amount of detail here as well. I won’t tell you who won, but I will tell you that someone was tabled.
4) Kaughnor’s Cave – Planning my return to Eldar
Yeah, dinosaurs are cool and all but once you go Eldar… something something rhymes with Eldar. Look man, the rhyming dictionary wasn’t all that helpful and I wasn’t sure that people would get a Hodor reference. Just read the damn post!
5) Zerloon Place – Battle Report – Eldar VS Tiranidi 1500pt
Yeah man! More hot elf on bug action! This is like that one hentai I saw. Wait… ew. That wasn’t a good memory AT ALL. But this bat rep will be. Thank Unholy Krondor for that.
BONUS) Yes the Truth Hurts – Bad Dog…
If you’re not a fan of the craftworlds, then you should at least find some kind of enjoyment from watching Stelek’s dogs playing. And if you don’t, then you’re a sad lump of wasted flesh and you should feel bad. Because, seriously, this is good stuff.
